No. How much each attendee wants to do out of the theme is up to them, but no one is expected to show up in a costume.

Most conventions have a theme that changes from year to year. This year, the theme is related to trick or treating. This theme will affect the design on the merch and how the venue is decorated.

The deadline for the badge form is midnight on the 14th of September (UTC+2). The form will remain open after the deadline, but submissions made after may not be including in the printing batch.

No worries, you will still get your own personal badge, but it will not be customized with your custom badge image and flags. You will receive a generic badge from us so you have access to the convention!

Some time during summer (June/July) we will start to send out invoices for the first night to the room captains. This should be paid before the due date to ensure your room. The remaining amount is paid directly to the hotel during checkin.

If you need your assistant with you in the convention area, they will need to purchase a ticket as well. If you don't need them to accompany you on the convention floor but only need to have them nearby, they don't need a convention ticket and would only have to pay for the hotel room.

Yes, the drink stations are available and free, and should be stocked with water (plain and sparkling), coffee and hot chocolate.

Norway uses Norwegian Kroner (NOK) as its currency, and mostly operates with credit and debit cards. Check with your bank to see if your card is approved to be used in foreign countries. If you decide to bring cash, avoid large bills. Other currencies such as Euros will not be accepted.

Yes. We recommend always carrying a passport or government approved ID to confirm your identity when entering Norway. For age-restricted purchases such as alcohol or nicotine products, a photo ID such as a driver's license will usually work, too.
